Keswick Convention

Many factors led to the establishment in 1918 of the Upwey Convention, later to become the Belgrave Heights Convention. One of the inspirations was the Keswick Convention in the UK. Established in 1875 in the Lakes District of the UK, the Keswick Convention developed as a place to take time away to systematically study the Bible looking for practical application in God’s mission for all Christians. Since that time many conventions have been established in the UK and around the world.

Our History

Belgrave Heights Convention (BHC) began under this banner in 1918, founded in the tradition of the Keswick Convention in the north of England.

Growing from small open-air meetings of Christians at Upwey, BHC has continued for over 106 years to bring Christians together and see transformation in their lives as they hear the Word of God preached and practically applied to their lives.
