Electives:
Catherine Power – Influencing others by knowing who you are -
It’s a given that we will influence the people in our lives. The question is will we do that from a place of truth and wholeness or from a place of shame and hiddenness? How can we get to know and like ourselves as God has made us? We will look at some scriptures to ground our view of ourselves, explore what stops us sharing God’s opinion of us and see if there are any practical tools to assist us in growing to know who we are as individuals.

Lynne Burgess – Influencing young children at home - Author of ‘All-In Night’, Lynne Burgess interviews her own daughter-in-law Tree Burgess, mother of 3 young girls about how she influences her children at home. A casual and fun atmosphere of honest sharing, practical tips and funny stories between two generations of mothers who deeply care about how the way they live impacts their children. Come and listen to an honest conversation and have the opportunity to ask some questions too. A must if you have young children.

Jenny Sonneman – Influencing through Generosity - Together we will be looking at the Biblical principle of stewardship, and how God delights in using our generosity for his glory. God has given us all so many resources, our time, skills, and money, and we get to use them to serve in so many ways. During the elective we will watch a short video showing an amazing story of generations of generous women in India. We will also spend time reflecting on a passage in 2 Corinthians. This is a taster from a program called “Journey of Generosity”.

To make Friday night's stay really worthwhile a light meal is served from 6pm, and an extra elective sesison is provided at 8pm (elective 1 below), as well as bed and breakfast. mattress supplied, bring all other bedding.
